Instructional Materials
Instructional materials are reviewed periodically by staff and, with the recommendation of the Instructional Materials Committee, new materials are presented to the School Board for adoption in the spring.
Materials that will be presented to the Instructional Materials Committee (IMC) for consideration this spring include chapter books for Grades 6-8 and math materials for Algebra and Geometry.

Materials are available for community review at the District Office on Mon, April 20, 2026 (6 pm – 7 pm) and Wed, April 22, 2026 (6 pm – 7 pm). In addition, materials can be reviewed when the District Office is open, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The Instructional Materials Committee will meet on Tues, May 12, 2026 (4 pm - 5 pm) at the West Valley Innovation Center Library. Parents/guardians may attend the meeting to observe. If a parent/guardian would like to provide comments for committee members to consider, they should provide written comments prior to the meeting by going to the IMC website listed above and clicking on “Contact the IMC.” Only written comments from parents/guardians submitted prior to the meeting will be considered by the Instructional Materials Committee.
